What Is the Equity Action Exchange?
The Equity Action Exchange is a collective of CEGEP students, teachers, and community members. We work together to embed equity and care into the methods and content of teaching and learning. We do this by building and sharing curriculum bundles teachers can use or adapt for their classes.

Transversal Skills
Build students’ ability to enact positive change by nurturing essential skills such as communication, collaboration, reflection, constructive feedback exchange, and imagining alternative futures.
Helping All Students Flourish
For too long, postsecondary institutions have centred European knowledge and pedagogical approaches, leaving the rich knowledges of Black, Indigenous, and other racialized communities on the margins.
The fact that such Eurocentric curricula contribute to a sense of isolation, shame, and disconnect for many racialized and Indigenous students is well established. What is less obvious – especially for teachers who were themselves educated in a Eurocentric system – is how to do things differently.
